Our San Diego rental studio provides a premium, fully equipped environment where artists can bring their visions to life with ease and professionalism.

At The Portrait Studio La Jolla, we believe that creativity thrives in the right setting. Our goal is to offer a versatile, high-end rental studio experience that supports both emerging and established photographers in the San Diego area. Whether you're capturing social media content, portraits, branding content, or specialized sessions like newborn and maternity shoots, our space is designed to meet your needs.

Creator

$250/month

Ideal for photographers, small businesses, and content creators, this tier offers you consistent studio access with 5 hours per month, with bookings in one hour blocks. You'll enjoy access to backdrops, microphone, and lighting, independent entrance, and discounted additional hours at $55/hr.

Pro Studio

$500/month

Perfect for full-time photographers and small workshops, this tier grants you 10 hours of studio time monthly, with bookings in 2-hour blocks. Benefit from priority booking during peak hours, access to all lighting and set designs, and a discounted $50/hr for extra hours. Plus, participate in our quarterly Collaborative Creation Session to improve your portfolio, or try something new!

Newborn Studio

$650/month

Tailored for those specializing in newborn photography, this exclusive tier offers 12 hours per month, with 4-hour bookings. Enjoy priority scheduling, selected props and posing tools (no outfits or fabric included), and a private mentor session each quarter. Additional hours are just $45/hr.

Hourly Rental

$65/hour 2-hour minimum

Hourly rental availiable on Peerspace. Subjected to Peerspace terms and conditions.

Quarterly Collaborative Content Creation Sessions

Participate in themed, styled shoots with access to exclusive sets and props. Collaborate and network with fellow members to build relationships and cross-promote your work. These sessions are free for professional studio members and open to non-members for $150.

Membership Details

Book your sessions in advance through our online system, enjoy independent entry for added convenience, and take advantage of discounted additional hours. All members must sign a 3-month minimum commitment and have their own valid busisness insurance.
